Paws Forward is Kokomo Humane Society’s Adoption Sponsorship Program, helping pets find homes faster while giving local Individual and businesses a meaningful way to give back.

Each year, we care for thousands of animals in Kokomo and Howard County. In 2025, 2,399 dogs and cats came to our shelter, and 1,864 found new homes through adoption — changing lives for pets and families alike.

As an Adoption Sponsor, you help reduce shelter stays, make room for pets in need, and ensure every animal receives compassionate care until their forever home is found.

Sponsorship Levels

As an individual or business, your support helps pets find homes and gives you the opportunity for local recognition. Each sponsorship level directly connects your name or brand with positive community impact.


Feline Forever Friend – $75
Help a cat start their journey home. Includes:
  • Covers a cat adoption fee
  • Recognition in a Pet of the Week social media spotlight
  • You’re welcome to stop by and take photos with your sponsored pet to share your impact
Canine Champion – $175
Give a dog a fresh start and a family. Includes:
  • Covers a dog adoption fee

Kennel Hero Sponsor – $500 (1 Month)
Support multiple pets by sponsoring a specific kennel for a full month. Your sponsorship helps every pet who stays in that kennel find their forever home. Includes:
  • Covers adoption fees for all pets in your sponsored kennel during the month
  • Logo displayed on kennel signage for 30 days
  • Featured business appreciation post on social media
  • Your promotional materials included in every adoption goody bag (materials provided by your business)
  • Recognition on the shelter’s website sponsor section
  • Opportunity to visit and take photos with adoptable pets from your sponsored kennel
Adoption Impact Leader – $1,000
Help make adoptions possible for families and boost placement rates over an entire weekend. Includes:
  • Sponsor all adoptions for a full weekend
  • Featured social media campaign highlighting your sponsorship
  • Logo displayed on shelter promotional posters during the sponsorship period
  • Your promotional materials included in adoption goody bags (materials provided by your business)

Signature Event Partner – $1,500+

  • Appearance by our mobile adoption unit – The Love Bus
